The Virtus gives new impetus

The new notchback sedan continues the model campaign. Twenty models will have come onto the market by 2020.

Only around 60 days after the launch of the “Novo Polo,” Volkswagen do Brasil has presented the new notchback sedan Virtus in São Paulo. The Virtus is based on the Modular Transverse Toolkit (MQB) and is 4.48 meters long. That’s a whole 42.5 centimeters longer than the Polo. The wheelbase has also grown.

It spans 2.65 meters, providing ample room for five adults. In addition, the notchback sedan from Anchieta has a trunk volume of up to 521 liters, more than any in its class. The range of assistance systems and features on offer in the Polo will also be available in the Virtus when it arrives at dealerships in January 2018.
