Volkswagen has filled important management positions in Germany and internationally.

Herbert Diess

of the Volkswagen Group and CEO of the Volkswagen
brand, is a new member of the board of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA). At the VDA board meeting in Berlin in early June, the 59-year-old was elected to succeed Matthias Müller, whose seat expired after his resignation as CEO of Volkswagen AG. The VDA is an association of German automotive manufacturers and suppliers.

Thomas Steg

The special audit by Corporate Auditing came to the conclusion that “Thomas Steg cannot be accused of personal legal offenses,” said Chief Legal Officer Hiltrud Werner. In addition, neither breaches of duty nor violations of labor law by employees have been found in studies commissioned by the lobbying organization EUGT.
