Making progress!

In South America the Volkswagen brand has sites in Brazil and Argentina. In October the company delivered 35,900 vehicles to customers in this region. That is an increase of 61.2 percent compared to October of 2016.

Driving forces behind this positive development are Brazil, with a 73.6 percent increase in customer deliveries, and Argentina with an increase of 44.5 percent. The compact car segment in these two markets has shown especially strong growth with the Gol and Voyage.

cars have been manufactured at the plants in Anchieta, Taubaté, and Curitiba so far this year (as of November 14). That is already more than in the whole of 2016 (333,500). The São Carlos plant produced 364,000 engines by mid-November.

Models made by Volkswagen do Brasil: Gol, Saveiro, Saveiro Cross, Voyage, up!, cross up!, Fox, Polo, Virtus, Golf



cars were made at the Pacheco plant up until mid-November this year. The plant in Córdoba produced 627,000 transmissions by the end of October.
