Camera always at the ready

Employee Jens Heinrich produces a Wolfsburg calendar for a good cause.

He always has his camera with him when he’s not at work, and also has a great desire to help children. Jens Heinrich from international sales has, for the sixth time, produced a calendar featuring images of his beloved home city of Wolfsburg. Every year all of the proceeds go to the Villa Bunterkund, an organization that helps critically ill children at the Klinikum Wolfsburg hospital.

“It’s a great feeling when you can help someone with your hobby,” says Heinrich (47). His calendar for a good cause is becoming ever more popular, including among colleagues around the world. The total amount of money he has donated from its sales has now reached €15,000. Some €6,500 of that came from last year’s sales alone.

Heinrich has selected
three ­Volkswagen-related images for the 2018 calendar: the power station, the Autostadt, and the Golf sculpture. “I hope that a lot of people like the photos,” he says, “and I especially hope to bring in a lot of revenue for this great cause.”
